The Second training on scientific beekeeping with stingless bees and Apis cerana for better honey production and pollination in Nagaland was conducted at Kushiabill village. The second training on scientific beekeeping with stingless bees and Apis cerana for better honey production and pollination in Nagaland was conducted at Kushiabill village in Dimapur district from February 22 to 24. 43 beekeepers from 4 villages attended the Intensive training which included practical demonstration by resource persons apart from discussion hours. Specified topics on scientific Stingless beekeeping, basics on apiary establishment, scientific hives and maintenance, bee diseases & pests, importance of bees and insects on pollination, scientific honey harvesting, etc. were delineated by the resource speakers.
