Being the commercial centre, everyone cannot own land for cultivation in Dimapur. Only some few rich people own big land for farming. Windfall welfare society felt the need to improve the livelihood of the poor and the marginalized people. The city demand for meat and fish product from other states as the production in the state is very meager. In order to increase their financial status, the society organize one day training on piggery, Chicken farming and fishery for 30 farmers at ICAR, Jarnapani. At the end of the training, the beneficiaries were given piglets, chicks and fingerlings for the start up.

With rapid urbanization and modernization, our youths have forgotten the old traditions of our fore fathers. We the Nagas have adapted so much with Korean life styles that they have forgotten their own traditional attires. Therefore there is a felt need of the society to revive weaving of the old traditional attires. WWS have two training of 15 days each with 10 participants each during this financial year. The trainees are now able to weave and market their products. WWS is planning for a common outlet for all the trainees in Dimapur itself.
