AWARENESS CAMP ON HIV/AIDS, STI & TB (2023)

Receiving positive feedback from the general population regarding the conducting of awareness camps on HIV/AIDS, STI & TB, the Organization decided to continue conducting such awareness programmes.

Accordingly, the Organization organized six awareness camps on HIV/AIDS, STI & TB during the year in selected areas of Dimapur town and nearby villages.

People were made aware of the different routes of transmission of HIV/AIDS, the symptoms of STI, and the importance of timely treatment. Information was also disseminated on the symptoms and types of Tuberculosis (TB), emphasizing that TB is curable if detected and treated in time.

Condom demonstrations were also conducted with proper educational aids.
